By accessing or using DEPARTMINT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. DEPARTMINT is an AI-powered social media management platform that automates content creation and publishing for businesses. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
DEPARTMINT provides automated social media management services including but not limited to: AI-generated content creation, scheduled publishing to social media platforms (including Instagram and TikTok), analytics and performance tracking, and brand identity management. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate captions, images, and video content on behalf of users.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per business entity is permitted unless otherwise agreed.
DEPARTMINT integrates with third-party platforms including Instagram (Meta) and TikTok. By connecting your social media accounts, you authorise DEPARTMINT to publish content, read analytics, and manage interactions on your behalf. You remain responsible for all content published through the Service. You must comply with the terms of service of each connected platform.
When you connect your TikTok account, DEPARTMINT requests the following permissions:
You retain ownership of your brand assets, product photos, and any original content you upload. AI-generated content produced by DEPARTMINT on your behalf is licensed to you for commercial use. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving content before it is published. DEPARTMINT does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
You agree not to use the Service to publish content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates intellectual property rights; to spam or engage in inauthentic behaviour on social media platforms; to circumvent platform policies or terms of service; or to misrepresent your identity or brand.
DEPARTMINT offers subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Fees are charged in advance. Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused subscription periods. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
DEPARTMINT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss of data, revenue, or social media account access. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, non-payment, or inactivity exceeding 12 months. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
